My Story

Hello! Thank you for exploring HealthStarts2Day. I have invested 8+ years in the hospital and extended care settings and have seen firsthand the effects of lifestyle choices on health. Those clients that have changed an exercise and/or eating habit, have improved their health and feel better. TODAY can be the day that you set a health goal for yourself and begin to forge a new health habit. It is never too late to build muscle, strengthen bone and live differently. So today can be the day that you START!

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist through the Commission on Dietetic Registration and a Certified Health Coach through the American Council on Exercise. Recently I completed the Behavior Change Specialist Program through the American Council on Exercise. I am also certified in CPR/AED through the American Heart Association.  I have hiked most of the Sonoma County Regional Parks, many of California's State Parks, participated in many Relays for Life and Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.  You can find me most days out on a trail!

HealthStarts2Day offers individual and group walks and hikes throughout Sonoma County, California and nearby National Parks. You choose the date, time and location and your excursion will be tailored to your fitness level. Nutrition guidance is also available during the walk or hike. Custom meal patterns can be developed with individual food counseling (Note: Counseling services to be arranged separately). Group nutrition classes are also available.

My focus is to partner with you to set realistic, measurable and achievable goals and guide you to achieve the lifestyle changes YOU would like to make!
